International exhibition and performance has exposed me to the highest standards of professional critique, experience I draw on constructively in the studio. I am a confident and passionate architectural and interior designer, documenter, modeler, visualiser, computational modeler, and photo-real / high concept artist, with experience leading architectural research and development, and end to end contract management of design and visualisation projects, ranging from ultra-luxury single residential to multi-storey mixed use developments. This experience has primed me for the BIM industry, and working across several disciplines has prepared me for the rigorous cross platform knowledge required in todays digital engineers.
My roles over the last 5 years have given me experience leading and training visualisation teams, and coordinating / teaching architectural R&D for the purposes of integrating new technologies, software and workflows into existing practices.
I have written, managed and delivered visualisation contracts on budget and on time. I am a confident drafter, with experience documenting construction and interior detailing, joinery, lighting, and DA drawings with exposure to construction contract administration. Lately my work through the Masters of BIM at UWA has focused on building performance, digital engineering (clash detection, 4D simulation etc.), sustainability, and computational/parametric workflow optimisation and innovation.
I believe my ambition has been well demonstrated in my academic pursuits; two undergraduate degrees studied partially simultaneously with Distinction averages, and a Masters (High Distinction average) for which I was the highest mark in my graduate. In my professional life I have at times managed full time employment, casual employment, studies, and my own small business which I believe demonstrates my work ethic and time management skills.
I look forward to the opportunity to exemplify my work ethic, and my passion for creative problem solving through environmentally sustainable technological solutions.
